The Ferrari 488 (Tipo F142M) replaced the 458 in 2015, being the first mid-engine Ferrari to use a turbocharged V8 – the 3.9-litre V8 Tipo F 154 BB - since the F40. The 488 GTB was named "The Supercar of the Year 2015" by car magazine Top Gear, and as well became Motor Trend's 2017 "Best Driver's Car".
