The Maserati Khamsin (Tipo AM 120) is a grand tourer, it was sold alongside the De Tomaso-based Maserati Kyalami and is also a V8 2+2 GT car. Several technical solutions were now based on Citroen technology. Following the tradition it was named after a wind: The Khamsin is an Egyptian, hot and violent wind which rages for fifty days a year.
