The BMC Race Air Filter was developed, in order to guarantee a higher air passage opposite the conventional paper Filter. The BMC Baumwollfilter permits only one minimum of pressure loss to flowing through air to reach the the maximum at achievement.
All BMC Filter consists of an aluminum net, treated with an epoxy solution. Thus they are resistant to gasoline vapors and oxidation, which would arise due to the air humidity. The filtering material consists of special cotton, soaked in an oil with low tackness, in order to guarantee highest permeability of air.
