3500 GT / GTI

The 3500GT was the first Maserati road car to be built in large numbers. In 1957 Maserati withdraws from motor racing and focuses on the production of Gran Tourismo road cars. In 1961, a mechanical fuel injection system by Lucas replaced the triple Weber carburetors and boosted the power to 235hp; car was renamed to 3500GTI.

Maserati 3500 GTI, Sebring, Mistral For early Maserati  3500 GTI this injector also replaces the Lucas injector with number 73009A which cannot be overhauled, specially released for the metal pipes. These are no longer supplied, but we do supply the later types of injectors. Unfortunately, these cannot be mounted on the metal injector pipes of the 3500GTI. You must also purchase the 6 x flexible high-pressure fuel lines that all later Maserati models have fitted. We can also deliver these - see MAS-FUE-08462
